ABOUT US
The Ashoka University Economics Society (AUES) aims to contribute to the dialogue around economics in Ashoka. As an ever-evolving and dynamic subject, economics plays an inevitable role in the lives of all individuals. The society strives to make the subject more accessible to students and inspire them to engage with ideas beyond the confines of their courses. Some of our initiatives to encourage such student engagement include seminars, competitions, mixers and academic writing.

Increase Student Engagement with economics by taking the subject beyond the classroom and getting the students to start thinking about ideas that are relevant to the issues around us and the ones that inspire us.

Tue, 29 OctAC-02 007 (Takshila)Dr. Arvind Panagariya to launch his latest book ‘The Nehru Development Model: History and its Lasting Impact’ at Ashoka! He is the current Chief of the Finance Commission, the recipient of a Padma Bhushan, and was the first Vice-Chairperson of NITI-Aayog.
